Marlin GTX enables orders to be searched and managed using the Work Order Enquiry module.
Work Order Enquiry can be used to quickly locate a specific work order, or view specific types of orders and their details.
The module can also be used to cancel, re-open orders, as required.
Work Order Enquiry can be accessed by selecting Main > Enquiries > Work Orders from the menu bar.

Searching Work Orders
The Work Order Enquiry list is also searchable.

To search for an order:
- Click on the column heading you want to search by
- Type the search terms on the keyboard
- The relevant order(s) will be selected in the list
- If it does not exist, the nearest match based on the active filters will be located instead
The Order column is selected by default, meaning you don't have to click on the Order column to search by work order number, when you first open the module.
Filtering Work Orders
Specific types of work orders can be viewed and re-opened by clicking on the Filter icon at the top of the module window (or pressing F6 on the keyboard).

In the Filter pop-up that opens:
- Select the desired Filter Criteria
- Click Ok

Orders can be filtered by:
- Salesperson
- Order Status:
- All Orders
- Open Orders
- Open but excl. Back Orders
- Back Orders
- Filled Orders
- Cancelled Orders
- Delivery Orders
- Date Type:
- Due Date
- Order Date
- Reversed Date
- Allocation Type:
- Both
- Allocated
- Quotes
Work Order Details
The details of selected orders are shown in the Work Order Details section at the bottom of the module window.

Header Details
To view header details:
- Select the order in the Work Order Enquiry list
- Click on the Show Header Line Details button
at the top of the module window - A pop-up will open on the right

Line Details
To view line details:
- Select the order in the Work Order Enquiry list
- Click on the Show Detail Line Details button
at the top of the Work Order Details list - A pop-up will open on the right

Invoice Details
Details of invoices for invoiced orders can be viewed by clicking on the Show Invoice Details button at the top of the Work Order Details list.

To view invoiced orders, set the filter to All Orders.
Editing Work Orders
Work orders can be edited and invoiced by selecting them in the list and clicking on the Edit button at the top of the module window (or press F2 on the keyboard).

A Work Order pop-up will open, which can be used to edit and invoice the order as usual.
Contacting Customers
Customers can be contacted by selecting one of their work orders in the list and clicking on the Send SMS button at the top of the module window.

A pop-up will open on the right, which can be used to message the customer, as usual.
Cancelling Work Orders
Work orders can be cancelled from the Enquiry Screen by selecting them in the list and clicking on the Cancel button at the top of the module window.

In the Cancel Work Order pop-up that opens:
- Select the cancel option
- Enter a Cancel reason
- Click Proceed

Re-Opening Work Orders
Cancelled work orders can be viewed and re-opened by clicking on the Filter icon at the top of the module window (or pressing F6 on the keyboard).

In the Filter pop-up that opens:
- Set the Order Status drop-down to Cancelled Orders
- Click Ok

To re-open a cancelled order:
- Select it in the enquiry list
- Click on the Re-Open button at the top of the module window
- Confirm the pop-up that opens
