Marlin GTX salespeople need to be configured with web access, in order to use trade portals.
Portal access and passwords can be configured using the Salesperson Details tab of a user's Staff Maintenance file.
Note
Technicians cannot access trade portals, only salespeople.
Salesperson Access
Salesperson access can be viewed and edited by opening the relevant Staff Maintenance file in Edit mode.
- Newer versions: Main > Staff > Manage Staff
- Older versions: System > System Files > People > Salespeople
To set portal access for a salesperson:
- Click on the Salesperson Details Tab at the top
- Use the Portal Access Level drop-down to set appropriate access
- Enter a Portal Password for them to log in with

In older systems, these fields are in the general Details tab.
