    Time and Attendance Feature
    This advanced time and attendance feature is only available in GTX 5.7.1 and later.
    To upgrade your system to the latest version, please contact the megabus support team.

    Marlin GTX versions from 5.7.1 onward replace salespeople and technician records with combined staff profiles, in order to facilitate time and attendance functionality.

    All salespeople and technicians are automatically converted to combined staff records during the upgrade.

    It is therefore important to review all salesperson and technician records before upgrading from previous versions of GTX, to ensure a smooth transition.

    It is also recommended to review all staff records once the upgrade has been completed and make changes as necessary.

    Reviewing Salespeople and Technicians

    The salespeople and technician maintenance modules can be accessed by selecting System > System Files > People > Sales People / Technicians from the menu bar.

    In the Sales People or Technicians module, set the Filter to show All salespeople or technicians (not just Active ones).

    Use the standard Edit, Modify and Merge functions to edit staff records as appropriate.

    For staff members who are both salespeople and technicians, ensure their Names and Codes are the same across both records.

    Review active salespeople or technicians and deactivate them as necessary.

    Ensure all salesperson and technician information is accurate and up to date, including:

    • Email addresses,
    • Full names (i.e. John Smith, not John S),
    • and salespeople passwords.
    Tip

    Modify Codes to a consistent, standard convention where possible (e.g. using staff member initials for both salesperson and technician codes).
    Inactive salespeople can also be merged into a single, unused code (such as ZZ) to stop them cluttering up system records.

    Note

    Salespeople Passwords are required for Time and Attendance functionality. If you do not have Salespeople Passwords enabled, please contact the Megabus Support Team.
