Marlin GTX enables products to be found and added while working in sales, workshop and planning screens.
Product search supports selecting items, checking availability and adding products to orders and bookings.
Products can be searched directly when adding order lines or by using the Product Search module.
Work Order/Invoice Searching
Products can also be added to orders and invoices by clicking on the Product Search button at the top of the Line Details list.
The Product Search pop-up will open, which can be used to find products.
To add products to an order:
- Select the required products
- Click Select
- Work Orders: Added to Line Details list
- Planner Bookings: Added to Notes section
Product Search Module
The Product Search module enables broader product searches outside of order lines.
Product Search is accessed from Main > Enquiries > Product Search.
Searching for Products
Products can be searched using basic details such as code or name.
To search for products:
- Enter a keyword
- Select a search type, if required
- Click Search
Search results are shown below the search fields, showing key information such as price and availability.
To view additional product details:
- Select a product
- Click on the Maximise/Minimise Details button at the bottom-right
