Marlin GTX enables adding an Obsolete Stock column to Product Search and generating an Obsolete Stock Report.
Adding Obsolete Column to Product Search
Open the Product Search screen and right-click anywhere on the Column headings row to view all columns available for display.
Scroll down in the Available Columns list at left to find @Obsolete, click on it and then on the right arrow (or just double-click) to add it to the Selected Columns list at right.
To re-order the columns see Configurable Columns.
Click on Save.
The Obsolete column will now be displayed with a Yes against any products with a Last Sale Date and Last Purchase Date (both shown at bottom of Details tab) older than the value in the Obsolete Stock Months system switch (eg. 12 months).
You can change the value stored in the Obsolete Stock Months system switch by running an Obsolete Stock Report and changing the value on the report criteria screen.
Please contact Megabus if you would like to change the heading of the column to something other than Obsolete.
Obsolete Stock Report
Select Reports > Stock Reports > Obsolete Stock Report from the menu toolbar.
Select the options according to your requirements.
Changing the NO MOVEMENT value will update a system switch with the value you enter.
This value will then become the default value used to identify products as obsolete on the Product Search screen.
The report will then be generated according to the criteria you selected.
