The Marlin Mobile App integrates seamlessly with your GTX system.

The Marlin mobile app can be downloaded for free from the:
Once installed, the Marlin mobile app will open on the login screen, which can be used to Connect to your GTX system and log in different users.
The Marlin Mobile App Privacy Policy can be viewed at any time by:
- Clicking on the Privacy Policy link at the bottom of the app login screen
- Or selecting the Privacy Policy option from the in-app menu
Connecting to Marlin GTX
When first opening the Marlin mobile app, users will be shown the Login page.
This can be used to connect to different Marlin systems by either scanning the relevant QR code or manually entering the server URL.

The required QR code and URL can be viewed in GTX by selecting Help > About from the menu bar.

The About Marlin Workshop window will open, showing, the required connection details.


In the Marlin app:
- Scan the QR Code by tapping the QR Code icon next to the Server URL textbox (if available), or
- Enter Server URL Manually by typing the provided URL directly into the Server URL field
Once the URL has been entered, tap Verify.
Valid Server URLs will be remembered for future logins.
Technicians and salespeople from the connected marlin system can then be logged in, using their Staff Email and Portal Password.
Logging In
Once a valid Server URL has been entered the login page can be used to log different users into the Marlin Workshop Mobile App.
To log in:
- Enter the Email Address associated with your user and Password, as configured in the Marlin GTX system
- Tap Login

Users must have an associated Staff Email and Portal Password in order to log in to mobile app.
If the device is locked or the app is minimised, users must re-authenticate upon reopening. If the device supports biometric authentication (e.g., fingerprint, Face ID), users can choose this method instead.
Login Credentials
GTX users can log into Marlin Mobile using:
- Their Email Address, as set in the Staff Details tab
- Their Portal Password, set in either the Salesperson or Technician tab of the Staff module
- A Portal Access Level is not required to log into the app.



- The Portal Password field will appear blank after it has been saved.
In previous versions: There are separate email fields for Salesperson and Technician logins. To update to the latest version to enable combined staff functionality, shared login credentials and access to Time and Attendance, please contact the Megabus Support Team.
Access Levels
Access to modules in the app depends on which Portal Password is used to log in:
- Technician Portal Password
- Access: Task List, Time and Attendance
- No access to Stocktake
- Salesperson Portal Password
- Access: Task List, Time and Attendance
- Can also access Stocktake
- If both passwords are set: Users can log in using either the Salesperson or Technician Portal Password, however Technician log-ins will be restricted from the Stocktake module.
- If both passwords are the same: the salesperson log in will override the technician one and the user will be given access to the stocktake module.
Logging Out of Marlin Mobile
To log out of the Marlin mobile app and return to the Login screen:
- Open the in-app menu (three lines, top-right)
- Select the Logout option at the bottom
