Marlin GTX require users to fully log out of remote desktop sessions when using a hosted system.
If you are using a GTX system on a hosted server, it is important that you log out of the server using the desktop icon after every session.
Logging off ensures that:
- The End of Day and End of Month processes can be run,
- Necessary software updates can be installed,
- Your unsaved work is not lost,
- All files and programs are closed, rather than being left open,
- Your session is r**efreshed and ready **for the next day of trading.
Simply clicking on the X button at the top of a remote server window disconnects from the server but does not log out of the current session.
This means any open applications are left running, which can cause issues for other users who are still logged on, as well as future sessions.
To log out of a server session, double click on the Log Off icon on your remote server desktop.
If you do not have a Log Off Desktop icon, please contact the Megabus Support Team.
