Marlin GTX enables sending emails directly from GTX using a secure Megabus hosted service.
GTX systems can be configured to send emails in one of two ways:
- Via Megalink, using your business’s own email account
- Via Megabus Hosted Email, which sends messages on your behalf through Megabus-managed servers
The Megalink email integration does not support per-branch domains and requires the linked email account to be configured and managed seperately by the business.
Conversely Megabus Hosted Email integration removes the need for businesses to maintain or configure their own email relay server while ensuring reliable delivery and flexible branding across all branches.
This integration does not affect the user interface, and all email communications can still be sent by selecting the email option when generating documents and other messages.
Hosted Emails
Megabus Hosted Email ensures:
- Consistent and professional email branding for businesses with multiple branches or domains
- Reduce need to configure and maintain custom email servers
- Maximise successful delivery using Megabus-managed infrastructure
- Reduce spam flagging by using trusted delivery channels

Emails sent using the Megabus Hosted Email integration are always sent from the myvehicle email address:
- The sender name ("Tyre Store" in the example) will be configured to reflect the individual branch or business name
- All replies to these messages are directed to the branch’s configured email address
