Marlin GTX enables staff to request adjustment to fix mistakes from within the Time and Attendance module.
These requests notify a manager to review and adjust the entry if necessary.
This Phase 2 Time & Attendance Feature is only available in GTX 5.8.1 or later.
Requesting Adjustments
Main > Staff > Attendance Entry
To submit a Adjustment Request:
- Click the Request Adjustment button above the Clock On/Clock Off buttons
A pop-up window will open:
- Enter a Reason for the request
(e.g. "Forgot to clock on at 8am. Please update.") - Click OK
The adjustment request is now linked to your attendance record for managerial review.
The Request Adjustment button will change to Update Request, allowing you to update the request if necessary.
Adjustment Requests are only visible to authorised users in the Attendance Maintenance module and will appear with a red border for easy identification.
Actioning Adjustment Requests
Adjustment Requests are reviewed in the Attendance Maintenance module.
To locate and action a request:
- Open Attendance Maintenance
(Main > Staff > Manage Attendance) - Select the relevant staff member
- Locate the red-bordered attendance event
- Pending Adjustment Requests are shown in a list at the bottom
- Click on a request to select the relevant employee
Hover the mouse over flagged attendance event cell to show the adjustment request in a pop-up.
To resolve a adjustment request request:
- Double-click the red-bordered event to open the editor
- Adjust the time or details, as required
- Tick the Clear the Adjustment Requested flag checkbox
- Click OK to finalise the changes
Only events with unresolved adjustment requests will show a red border. Once cleared and saved, refresh the module and you will see that the event has returned to its normal display and is no longer in the Adjustment requests list.
