# Payday Assist Overview

**Marlin GTX**'s Payday Super integration helps you stay compliant with [the ATO's new Payday Super requirements](https://www.ato.gov.au/businesses-and-organisations/super-for-employers/about-payday-super).

These rules—introduced on July 1, 2026—require all Australian employers to **pay super at the same time as wages**, with contributions reaching employees' funds within 7 business days.

To support this, Marlin HR's **Payday Super Assist** integration automatically submits your super payments for processing through the [SuperChoice](https://www.superchoiceservices.com/) clearing house each time you run payroll.

**No manual file creation or upload is needed** for these funds:

- When a pay run includes superannuation contributions, HR **automatically generates and submits** the SuperStream payment file
- The file is **sent directly to SuperChoice**, which receives and validates it before passing contributions on to the relevant funds

For more information, or to enable the Payday Super Assist integration in your HR system, **please contact your account manager**.

Warning

If you decide not to use the Payday Super Assist integration, you will need to **set up and manage your own clearing house**.
