# HR 5.4.3

## Feature Highlights
### Automatic Termination Leave Adjustments
**HR-1294 - Terminations:** Automatically included leave loading on payouts of unused Annual Leave With Loading.
When processing a termination, Marlin HR now **automatically applies leave loading** to unused annual leave balances, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

### Improved Terminated Employee Leave Access
**HR-1334 - Leave / Terminations:** Enabled terminated employee leave corrections.
Users are now able to perform **leave balance adjustments** and **adjustment leave entries** on terminated employees.
This allows incorrectly processed termination pay runs to be reversed, so that a correct termination pay advice can be produced for the employee and reported to the ATO.
This enables users to correct common **leave-related errors** on termination pay runs, including:
* Leave balances not paid out to eligible employees
* Leave balances paid out to ineligible employees

### Ordinary Time Loading Declarations
**HR-1332 - Earnings Types:** Added checkboxes to declare whether a loading component on an earnings type is Ordinary Time.
New checkboxes have been added in the **Earnings Type** setup screen to indicate whether any applied loading is considered part of **Ordinary Time Earnings (OTE)** for superannuation purposes.
This checkbox is only accessible when the main Earnings type is marked as **Ordinary Time Earnings (OTE)** and a **Loading Factor greater than 1.0** is specified.
It is used in scenarios where the base payment qualifies as **OTE for ATO purposes**, but the loading portion does not, and should therefore be **excluded from superannuation** calculations.
By default, the new checkbox has the **same setting as the main OTE checkbox** so that payments continue as before, unless you manually change the setting.

If there is any uncertainty about whether the loading component is classified as OTE, **please consult your usual expert or regulatory sources**.

### Refresh Date Visibility
**HR-1287 - Maintenance Modules:** Display the latest refresh date for GL Accounts, Suppliers and Megabus-provided Allowances.
Marlin HR now displays the **last refresh date** at the top of the GL Accounts, Suppliers and Allowance Maintenance modules.
These dates will help remind users to **refresh** the related list if new records have been updated, while also assisting support teams to verify when each dataset was last updated.
If the date has changed since sed the module, click the **{{glossary.Update}}** button at the top of the module window to update the records.

The display will show **"Date Unknown"** until the first time it is refreshed after installing v5.4.2 .

## Other Enhancements
**HR-1301 - Employees/Terminations:** Enabled an employee's Deceased Date to be changed if a termination pay run has not yet been performed.
**HR-1298 - Help Menu:** Redirected the “?” Help icons to this new Marlin Inform website.
**HR-1333 - Leave:** Sorted leave entries by descending Entered Date, so the most recent entries appear first.
**HR-1289 - Lump Sum E:** Ensured a financial year must be selected on backpayment for a prior year.
**HR-1330 - Pay Runs:** Added periodic award review and timesheet sign-off reminders for pay runs.
**HR-987 - Pay Runs:** Added GTX Time and Attendance display in pay run processing, in preparation for HR integration.
**HR-1311 - Superannuation:** Added super adjustments display for casual under 18yo in the 'This Pay' column.
**HR-1314 - Terminations:** Ensured Deceased termination type is stored correctly.
**HR-1309 - UI:** Optimised screen scaling settings across modules.
## Notable Fixes
**HR-1331 - Journals:** Adjusted time/date formatting in pay run journal to support Marlin Workshop import.
**HR-1288 - Leave Report:** Fixed incorrect display of leave loading symbol on unused leave payout.
**HR-1310 - Pay Advice:** Fixed Termination Pay Run for deceased employees not picking up all YTD figures.
**HR-1233 - STP Submission:** Fixed missing Cessation Type for deceased employees in EOFY STP submission if no Termination Pay was processed.
**HR-1329 - Terminations:** Fixed issue where unused leave payout was dropped from a Termination Pay if an OTE payment that accrues leave was added.
