# Birthdays and Anniversaries

In Marlin HR version 2.0.5 we have added automatic reminders for Birthdays and Work Anniversaries to the pay run screen.

These may be useful in prompting you to review or change an employee's pay rate or to send a congratulatory email or provide morning tea.

The fields used to trigger these reminders are the "Date Of Birth" field and "Joined" date field in Employee Maintenance.
