# Transaction Search

**Marlin GTX** enables you to search for customer transactions and supplier transactions.

## Search For Transactions

**From the menu toolbar:**

- Select Main > Customers > Manage Customers (or Main > Suppliers > Manage Suppliers)

**If you know the transaction reference number (eg. Invoice Number):**

- Click on the Search for a Transaction icon
- Select the Transaction Type, enter the Reference Number and click on the Search button

**If you do not know the transaction reference number:**

- Enter on the relevant Customer or Supplier from the list
- Select the Transactions tab (or Last Year Transactions tab)
- If the transaction list is short, scroll through the transactions to locate the one you seek
- If the transaction list is very long, click on the Print Transaction Report icon
- To home in on a particular transaction, select the appropriate criteria and then click on the Generate button
