# Special Prices

**Marlin GTX** enables you to apply special prices to selected products for a specified period.

## Add a Special

From the menu toolbar select Main > Products > Special Price Maintenance (If this option doesn't appear, please contact Megabus for assistance).

Click on the Add icon and then enter the details of the Special. You can enter specific Start and End Dates or select from a list of standard date ranges.

Click on the Save icon when complete.

## Add Products to a Special

### Manually

Open the Special that you just added and select the Products tab.

Click on the Edit icon and then on the Add icon. Click in the Product Code field to select a relevant Product Code and then in the price fields to enter prices (or use your right arrow key).

Repeat the procedure to add more Products.

To remove a Product, click on that line and then on the Delete icon.

Click on the Save icon when complete.

### Import CSV file

Open the Special that you just added and select the Products tab.

Click on the Edit icon

Click on the import icon

Browse to the CSV file and click on the Open button

## Product Search

In Product Search, products that are associated with a currently active Special are highlighted in green.

Hovering the mouse pointer over a product will display the name of the Special.

## Invoices & Work Orders

On Invoices and Work Orders, the prices for products currently on Special are highlighted.

Clicking on the Details button at the end of the Product line will display the name of the active Special.
