Marlin GTX enables you to generate, customise, and save sales-related reports including Sales History, Sales Summary, Top Sales, Source of Business Analysis, and Customer Class Sales Summary.
Sales History Report Writer
This report enables you to build a custom report by selecting which fields are included, the date range, the Header, the Grouping and the Sorting.
Select Reports > Sales Reports > Sales History Report Writer.
Select the required date range.
Enter a Report Header.
Select the fields to be included from those available (Customer, SAC, Customer Dept, Customer Type, Customer Class (1-3), Debtor Code, Registration No, Source of Business, Salesperson, Product Code, Product Group, Super Group, Product Department, Product Class, Search Code (1-3), SAC Tag, Delivery Group and Delivery Customer).
To add a field, click on it and then on the right arrow (or just double-click on it).
Add fields in the order that you want them sorted by.
Tick check boxes in the Group column of fields that you want the report to group the data by.
Where required, click in the From and To column of an added field to specify a range.
Click on the Generate button.
Save the Custom Report for Future Use
Click on the Generate New Report icon (white page icon) to return to the report criteria screen.
Click on the Save button.
Enter a Report Code, Report Name and Description then click on the OK button.
Next time, open the Sales History Report Writer screen, click on the Load button and select your saved custom report.
Sales Summary by Period Report
This report will show sales details (Units, Sales $, GP $, GPM%) for the Day, Week, Month and Year, broken down by Sales Analysis Code, Super Groups, Departments and Salespeople.
Select Reports > Sales Reports > Sales Summary by Period.
Click on the Generate button.
Top Sales Report
This report will show sales details (Units, Sales $, GP $, GPM%) for the top ten Customers, Products or Salespeople.
Select Reports > Sales Reports > Top Sales Report.
Enter the required Date range.
Report by Customer, Product or Salesperson.
Sort by Units, Sales, GP $ or GPM%.
List how many Customers you want included in the list (max. 99).
Click on the Generate button.
Source of Business Analysis Report
This report shows sales details (Sales $, %Share, Invoices $, Credits $) for the Day, Week, Month and Year for each Source of Business.
Select Reports > Sales Reports > Source of Business Analysis.
Select the period (This Year, End of Week, End of Month or End of Year).
Click on the Generate button.
Customer Class Sales Summary Report
This report will show sales details (Units, Sales $, GP $, GPM%) for the Day, Week, Month and Year for each Customer Class.
Select Reports > Sales Reports > Customer Class Sales Summary.
Click on the Generate button.
