# Megalink BT

**{{variable.GTX Bold}}** enables electronic communication with suppliers, customers and branches using **Megalink**.

Megalink sends and receives transactions and messages directly into GTX

**Using Megalink:**
* **Supplier invoices**, credits and delivery dockets can be received automatically
* **Purchase orders** can be sent electronically to supported suppliers
* **Invoices** and other documents can be emailed to customers
* **Two-way SMS** contact with customers 
* **Data sharing** between branches in multi-branch systems



## Supplier Communications

Megalink supports electronic transactions with many suppliers, including:
* **Burson**
* **Repco**
* **Bridgestone**
* **Continental**
* **Michelin**
* **Pirelli**
* **Yokahama**

Supplier transactions are imported directly into the **Purchases** module for processing.

## Email Delivery

Documents can be **emailed to customers** when finalising transactions such as:
* Work orders
* Invoices
* Credits

## SMS Messaging

Megalink enables **two-way SMS** communication between staff and customers.

## Megalink Status

The **Megalink Control Panel** shows communication status and errors.

You can open the control panel by double-clicking the **Megalink** status tab at the bottom of the GTX window.

If the tab is **red**, a communication issue is present.
* If the **Logged In** or **Active** indicators are red, {{variable.SupportTeam}}

Megalink email delivery is usually **configured by Megabus** during initial system set up.
