### Time & Attendance – Phase 2
**GTX-29083 – Time and Attendance:** Implemented Time & Attendance Phase 2 enhancements.
A number of improvements have been introduced to Time & Attendance functionality, **streamlining performance** and enabling integration with **Marlin HR payroll**.
>and the **Marlin** mobile app.
**These new enhancements enable users to:**
>* **Clock-on/off and record breaks remotely**, using the Marlin mobile app
* **Integrate attendance records** with marlin HR payroll
* **Send help requests** to review and revise attendance events if they make a mistake
* **Edit and cancel attendance events**, if necessary
* **Capture daily snapshots** of staff attendance and schedules
* **Add notes** to attendance events and summary records, which are visible in HR
* **Produce Head Office Attendance Summary Reports** in HR
**Smart reminders** have also been implemented, prompting users to perform tasks like sending **booking reminders** and perform the **End of Day close-off** before clocking off.

### Customer Receipt and Deposit Surcharges
GTX now allows surcharges to be automatically calculated and applied to **customer receipts** (account payments) and **deposits**.
Once configured, surcharges are automatically calculated and applied when the relevant payment type is selected, ensuring seamless surcharge handling across multiple transaction types.

### End of Year Enhancements
**GTX-29320 – End of Year:** Improved End of Year speed and archiving.
The **End of Year close-off** speed has been greatly improved, making EOFY processing **faster** and **more efficient**.
Once the close-off is complete, the **Previous Year Data Archiver** now also launches in the background, allowing trading to continue while previous years' data sets are installed.
