Marlin GTX enables third party validation of mobile numbers and email addresses to ensure that customer contact details are accurate.
On a Planner item, when entering Autotracker details, or in an Autotracker Enquiry, when you tab off the Mobile or Email fields the data you entered will be validated using a third party service.
For a moment or two you will see a popup.
After the validation you will see symbols to indicate whether the data was validated and whether the mobile number or email address exists.
Hovering your mouse pointer over the symbol will display an explanation such as the following:
Mobile Invalid, or Email: Domain does not exist or has no reachable mail exchangers
Mobile Not Validated, or Email not validated
Email last validated on 24/3/2016, or Mobile last validated on 24/3/2016
Once the data has been validated, it will not be validated again unless you change the data or the original validation failed and you click in that field and tab off it again to re-validate.
