Marlin GTX enables account customers to be added with flexible payment terms and credit control.
Account customer records can be viewed and edited by selecting Main > Customers > Manage Customers from the menu bar.

Customer Maintenance is used only for account customers. Cash customers are managed using the Customer Autotracker.
Adding Account Customers
Account customers can be added by clicking Add at the top of the Customer Maintenance window.

The Add Customer window will open on the Details tab.

Enter the customer's Contact details using the section on the left.
The Customer Code is used to identify the account in GTX and must be unique.
Account Settings
Use the General section on the right to enter account details.

Use Account Status to control invoice access:
- Open for active accounts
- Credit Hold to restrict invoicing
- Closed to prevent normal use
Accounts can be placed on Credit Hold until outstanding invoices are paid
Account Options
Additional account options are configured on the Options tab.

The selected Payment Terms will be applied as the default invoice option.
The Normal Sell Price picker sets the default pricing when adding products to orders and invoices.
Deactivating Account Customers
Accounts can be deactivated by unticking the Active checkbox at the top-right of the Details tab.

Receipts can still be recorded for inactive accounts but invoices require reactivation
Review accounts regularly and deactivate unused records to keep the system clean
Contacts
Account customer contacts are managed using the Contacts tab.

To add delivery addresses:
- Click on the Add button at the top
- The Select Contact pop-up will open
- Select an existing contact
- Or click the New Contact button at the bottom-right

Multiple contacts can be recorded against one account.
Email delivery uses the contact email addresses selected during document delivery.
Other customer information, including Delivery Addresses, Contracts and Notes, can also be added using the appropriate tabs.
