# Megalink

**Marlin Tyre and Mechanical Workshop Software**'s integration with Megalink enables direct communications with customers and suppliers.

Using **Megalink**, suppliers can send invoices directly to Marlin, documents can be sent by email and customers can be contacted instantly via SMS text messaging.

Megalink email functionality will usually be configured by Megabus when Marlin is first set up, using the business's provided email details.

To update any details affecting the Megalink integration partner, please contact the **Megabus Support Team**.

Megalink integration details and statuses can be viewed by selecting **System > Company > Integration Partners** from the menu bar and opening Megalink from the Search list.

## Electronic Supplier Invoices

Megabus has agreements with a variety of popular suppliers to have invoices electronically sent directly to the Marlin **Supplier Inbox**, negating the need to manually enter invoice details.

To enquire about the list of suppliers available for this service and enable electronic invoices, please contact the **Megabus Support Team**.

Once enabled, the Supplier Orders module will have an **[Inbox](/v1/docs/supplier-inbox)** tab where supplier invoices will arrive and can be committed.

If a supplier requests your megalin address to set up electronic invoicing, it can be quickly accessed by selecting **Help > About Marlin** from the menu bar.

## Marlin HR Payroll Journals

If [Marlin HR](https://www.megabus.com.au/products) is also being used for payroll, the journal entry created after each HR payrun can be sent directly to the Marlin journal inbox using megalink.

Once configured, Marlin Tyre and Mechanical Workshop Software's Journal Entry module will have an **Inbox** tab where these journals will arrive as drafts and can be committed to the general ledger.

## Emails

Megalink email functionality will usually be configured by Megabus when Marlin is first set up, using the business's provided email details.

If the email address, password or the email relay server has changed, please contact the **Megabus Support Team** to update them within the Marlin system.

Some email providers (e.g. Gmail and Office365) now require two-factor authentication (2FA) and app passwords in order for third parties, including Marlin, to send emails using their email addresses.

## Text Messaging

If requested, Megalink **SMS** functionality will usually be configured by Megabus when Marlin is first set up.
