# Keyboard Shortcuts

**{{variable.Marlin}}** includes a number of useful keyboard shortcuts.


## Navigation
**Ctrl+Tab:** Next window.

**Ctrl+Shift+Tab:** Previous window.

**Ctrl+Pg Dn:** Next tab.

**Ctrl+Pg Up:** Previous tab.

**Ctrl+F4 or Ctrl+W:** Close current tab, or close the application if there are no open tabs.

 

## Lists and Records
**Enter:** Open the selected record.

**F1:** Add a remark line to a customer order.

**F2:** Open the selected record in edit mode.

**F3:** Expand list in a separate pop-up window.

**F4:** Open picklists. Press again to edit the picklist source.

**F5:** Refresh list.

**F7:** Previous record.

**F8:** Next record.

**F9:** Filter item picklist to show previously purchased items during customer orders.

**F10:** Save record.

**Insert:** Add new record.

**Shift+Insert:** Clone selected record.

**Esc:** Close record, dialogue or picklist.

**Ctrl+Print:** Print record, where available.

 

## Item Explorer
**F1:** Show and hide the Detail panel.

**F2:** Open the selected item's master file in edit mode.

**F3:** Toggle the filter between Show Available and Show All.

**F6:** Open the Item Explorer window from within customer bookings, customer orders, supplier orders and branch transfers.

**F9:** Show and hide costs.
